ABOUT US

Welcome!

Miss Vietnam-Netherlands was officially founded on February 4, 2023 in the Netherlands with different groups of women living in the Netherlands. The main goals of Miss Vietnam-Netherlands are to increase the number of active women to raise awareness about women's human rights, to support Vietnamese women living abroad through education, empowerment and or meeting emergency needs. The important characteristics of Miss Vietnam Netherlands are: openness, respect, transparency, unity, integration, companionship and love.


Membership of Miss Vietnam Netherlands is open to everyone, especially women of all ethnic groups and religious backgrounds. We are a multi-ethnic organization that strives for integration in the Netherlands where women play a significant role on a national, regional and local level. Miss Vietnam Netherlands in the Netherlands that peace and reconciliation is not feasible or sustainable without the full participation of women in Vietnam and around the world. Miss Vietnam Netherlands is committed to increasing the rights and social participation of all Vietnamese women in civil society, regardless of their ethnic background, sexual orientation, age, religious belief or marital status.

Goals

Everyone is welcome to join us in achieving the following goals:

  • keeping the connection within the Vietnamese community; helping Vietnamese women to integrate into Dutch society;
  • promoting Vietnamese culture and traditions;
  • exchanging corporate culture between the Netherlands and Vietnam.


The organization tries to achieve its goal, among other things, by organizing cultural activities for the Vietnamese - Dutch women and helping them to learn Dutch and Vietnamese.


Building networks with other women's groups to create a strong and distinctive women's movement that bridges ethnic divides.

Our core activities

  • Events

    We are involved in organizing (cultural) events in different sizes, shapes and genres.

  • Networking

    Networking to build connections and relationships with other women's groups or other organizations with the aim of creating a strong and high-profile women's movement.

  • Meetings

    We are in the process of organizing different meetings to bring together the women and different women's groups or women's movements with the same interest and the same goal.

  • Integration and coaching

      Helping to learn Dutch and Vietnamese. Increase recognition of women's justice, gender equality and female leadership Create an environment and mechanism to assist in women's rehabilitation and well-being, women's physical and mental health Increase women's involvement in the leadership and decision-making process
