MEET OUR TEAM

Our team has both locally and internationally trained board members, so that our team always understands you and or your organization's needs and environment.

The board

The board represents the union and is charged with managing the union.

The board members receive no compensation for their board work. The union only works with volunteers.

Chairman The chairman is responsible for general affairs, including the meeting and decision-making.

The chairperson ensures that decisions are taken and she maintains order.

Secretary

The secretary takes care of the minutes during a meeting, but often also prepares actions, membership administration and correspondence.

The secretary also monitors applicable laws and regulations.

Treasurer

The treasurer is responsible for the financial affairs of the union, including managing the money, keeping the cash book and making payments.

Board meeting

A meeting of the board (the annual meeting) is held annually within six months after the end of the financial year.

The board meets at least twice a year for a board meeting chaired by the chairman. The secretary takes minutes of the meeting. A budget will be drawn up and published every year.

Decision-making The board can only take decisions in a meeting on all subjects that come up for discussion if the majority of the board members in office are present or represented.
